What is the difference between refinishing and reupholstery?
Refinishing focuses on the exposed wood: sanding, repairing, staining, or painting. Reupholstery focuses on fabric, foam, and internal structure. Most vintage pieces benefit from both - and we do it all in-house.

What’s the turnaround time for refinishing and reupholstery?
Most projects are completed in 3–4 weeks, depending on the condition of the piece, the type of finish, and any fabric or foam ordering. We’ll give you an accurate estimate once we’ve reviewed photos or seen your piece in person.
Do I need to refinish and reupholster my piece at the same time?
Not always. Some pieces may only need one service. However, combining refinishing and reupholstery often gives the best result — structurally and visually. We’ll assess your piece and recommend the right approach. Sometimes one portion can be easily done at a later date, other times it is better to do everything at once.
Can you match my existing stain, paint, or finish?
Yes. We offer custom color matching for wood stains and paints. If you're trying to match other furniture or decor in your space, just send us photos or bring a sample — we’ll take care of the rest.
Do you use traditional restoration methods?
We specialize in modern refinishing and upholstery techniques, not museum-grade or historically accurate restoration. Our goal is to make your piece beautiful, functional, and built to last — not necessarily period-correct.

Do you pick up / deliver?
Yes, we offer local pickup and delivery for most upholstery projects.
If you don’t have a way to transport your piece, we can arrange safe and affordable pickup within our service area. Just mention it when requesting your quote and we’ll include the option.
